They mixed up how they are going to carry out the execution. For a child rapist they should crusify him, and then behead at a later date. Why bother beheading the man and then crusifying him.

Saudi Arabia has one of the lowest crime rates in the world.....and it is not because it is like Holland where almost nothing is a crime...so the is no rate to speak of....
Would makes us all lot safer if we had similar penslties here.

I can think of a few other things they should do to a child rapist first, Vinnie. Leg breaking among them.

Crucifying them isn't a religious thing for the Saudis, it's a public display of what happens to criminals. Cheresh is right on. Does violence beget violence, or prevent it?

The deal is the Saudi's behead the guy then tie his hands and feet to the cross and use it for public display. They don't nail him to the cross....which I firmly believe they should!!

Well. If we're unwilling to pour water up the nose of a terrorist who blows up hundreds of innocent men, women, and children, then I guess crusifying someone for simple child rape would be out of the question in America.

I kind of like the way the camp director put it in Pollyanna, "Let the punishment fit the crime, let the punishment fit the crime."

Sometimes justice should be tempered with mercy, but in cases of child molestation, rape and intentional murder the compassion for the offender should be directed at his victims.

We don't enforce the laws we have on the books now. Illegal aliens for instance.
In other countries they are deported, held in prison as spies, executed, shot on sight and dealt with as criminals.
Instead we give them more benefits than US citizens have.
Drivers license, Social Security Card, Food Stamps and Welfare, credit cards, subsidized housing, free education, health care, etc...

We are really screwed up.

You're right EM. WE are screwed up. But the libs know EXACTLY what they're doing. Play the guilt card and feign compassion, and keep increasing the non tax paying, benefit grabbing voter roles until the balance is irrevokably tipped. What the best is for America really isn't in play. Truly sad and tragic.

Here's an idea...why not extradite a few child molesters we have here over to Saudi Arabia?? Let's see if a public beheading or five deters child molesters from acting on their sick urges.
