What commercial lenders/brokers out there pay a decent referral fee?

for referring the scenario of a customer that closes?

I am looking for reliable companies that make commercial loans, especially deals involving real estate that I can send customers to and earn some percentage such as 20% or 30% of fees they earn.

If you are a commercial lender and are looking for referrals, please post your contact information.
I will also need to have a good understanding about the loans you want to do and the parameters for qualification.

I pay my referral sources 30-50% of what I make on a deal. I'm a commercial broker and my business model is built on referral sources such as LOs, accountants, banks, etc. as my source of loans.

This makes it easier for someone like you to focus on originating and pass the loan off so you can go originate some more. You don't have to get bogged down with the details of processing a loan. The upside for me is I get to process loans and not have to worry about originating.

I'm direct to all of my lenders, and yes, the ones I use are lending. I believe in complete transparency which means your/our client will know who the lender is as soon as they are interested. No company generated LOIs to obtain upfront fees here.

I always suggest working out a separate fee agreeemnt between you and the borrower, be upfront about it and have them pay you at the close directly, you have nothing to hide if you have a solid funding source and treat them fairly, they will repsect you for it. I suggest earning the following on the below loan amounts, just my personal expectations/suggestions, nothing more than that fyi:

1M - 2M = 1 point
2M - 5M = .5 point
5M - 10M+ = .25 point


Remember, hogs get fat pigs get slaughtered, and typically if you are hoping to make 2 points on a 50MM deal simply for referring it and nothing more, forget it, you won't get those deals closed nor collect that kind of commission hoping for your big "soon to be retirement commission".
